有一位網友很不願意看到台灣被冠上”中華﹐台北“ (我不覺得這和中國﹐台北有什麼不同)﹐他反應了﹐ 在很多選美場合﹐ 台灣就是被逼著使用”Chinese, Taipei“﹐ 而且還被放在中國和香港之間。 Miss China, Miss Chinese Taipei, Miss Hong Kong Chinese 的順序出場﹐這個用意在矮化台灣已經很明顯了。

”不好意思打擾您 日前由於環球小姐要求我國佳麗必須以中華台北參賽 因此我國也拒絕派出代表參賽 可見大陸打壓我們變本加厲連非政治都脫離不了 然而世界小姐(由英國主辦)也打壓我們並安排我國佳麗在中共與中 國香港 小姐中間 該選美秀出各國國旗或區旗唯獨缺少我國旗幟就連我方選美協會也不向英國總部爭取利益 真是頭殼燒壞了 因此我希望台獨妹可以幫我把這消息告知大家 請大家向英國協會總部抗議並要求我方選美協會向英方要求我方佳麗排在英文字母T進場 並秀出國旗或會旗

因為最近有點太認真在注意其他新聞﹐ 可是這位網友希望大家在這時候千萬不要忘了台灣還在處處被中國矮化﹐ 我覺得﹐ 如果政府不願意去處理﹐ 我們人民應該更要把我們的聲音發出去。 人家會不會理﹐講真的﹐ 我不知道。 但是﹐ 如果台灣人自己不發聲﹐ 那有誰會注意到台灣不屬於中國呢﹖
我提供了一份英文的抗議信給世界小姐的主辦單位﹐ 希望各位能花一點點的時間發個email﹐ 讓外面可以聽到台灣人的聲音。

To Whom It May Concern:
It has come to my attention that when attending the Miss World pageant, Miss Taiwan is unwillingly being presented as Chinese Taipei instead of Taiwan . Furthermore, Miss Taiwan is banned from using the flag of Taiwan .
As a Taiwanese American, I find the political influence in the pageant being extremely offensive and disappointing. To date, Taiwan is not part of China .
Miss World organization shall not let the Chinese government interfere with its mission and integrity, for it is not a political event, but an international one.
I hereby urge that Miss World organization allow Miss Taiwan to participate as who she is: Miss Taiwan , and present the flag of her country. By doing so, the organization shows the world that it stands by its mission.
